Mark your calendar for October 21st 2010 to play in the Chamber Golf Tournament.
The Chamber staff and Committee Chair Pat Chandler are now accepting registrations for the October 21st Chamber Golf Tournament. This year a morning round of golf will be followed by lunch. The new format will provide an earlier completion of play as well as opportunities for more involvement by area participants. Committee Chair Pat Chandler (Lone Star College-Kingwood) has once again assembled a great team of volunteers to help her organize the event.

We invite you to come to New Caney where you can visit the “Old Sawmill Town” and step back in time and experience East Montgomery County history. Craft vendors, food concessions, historical displays, Live Cannon Firings, Live Sawmill Demonstrations by Alvin Smith Logging, old timey pictures, live music on the grandstand outdoors, carnival games, school choirs, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, giant slide and moonwalk, and tournament competitions - sack races, bucket relays, and more. We are partnering with our local schools, library and fire departments for a fun filled day for our community.

The Annual Chamber Golf Tournament is scheduled for Thursday Oct 21, 2010 at Oakhurst Golf Club. The tradition continues with the best golf tournament in East Montgomery County. This year’s golf outing will once again be held at the beautiful Oakhurst Golf Club with a 9 am shotgun start. Golfer registration will begin at 8 am.
